Visiting Information

The conference will be held at the Botanic Garden and Botanical Museum Berlin-Dahlem, Berlin.

The Botanic Garden Berlin-Dahlem comprises an area of 126 acres and hence is one of the world´s largest and most important gardens. We therefore recommend to spend time for visiting the Botanic Garden.

Public transport

  • Bus stop (bus X83): „Königin-Luise-Platz/Botanischer Garten“ (5 m)
  • Closest U-Bahn stations (U3, U9): „Dahlem-Dorf“ (850 m), „Podbielskiallee“ (850 m), „Breitenbachplatz“ (1 km), „Rathaus Steglitz“ (1,2 km)
  • Closest S-Bahn station (S1): “Rathaus Steglitz” (1,2 km)

From Tegel airport (ca. 40 min.)

  1. Take Bus 109 or X9 till “Zoologischer Garten”;
  2. From “Zoologischer Garten” take the U-Bahn (U9) till “Rathaus Steglitz”;
  3. From “Rathaus Steglitz” take Bus X83 till „Königin-Luise-Platz/Botanischer Garten“.

From Schönefeld airport (ca. 60 min.)

  1. From the train station – that is about 300 m from the airport - take the regional train “Airport Express” (RE7, RB14) till “Zoologischer Garten”;
  2. From “Zoologischer Garten” take the U-Bahn 9 till “Rathaus Steglitz”;
  3. From “Rathaus Steglitz” take Bus X83 till „Königin-Luise-Platz/Botanischer Garten“.

From the central station – Hauptbahnhof, Hbf (ca. 30 min.)

  1. Take the S-Bahn (S5, S7, S75) or the train (RE1, RE2, RE7, RE14) till “Zoologischer Garten”;
  2. From “Zoologischer Garten” take the U-Bahn 9 till “Rathaus Steglitz”;
  3. From “Rathaus Steglitz” take Bus X83 till „Königin-Luise-Platz/Botanischer Garten“.
